In the second photo you can see my first attempt to master Pavlova (meringue-based dessert named after the Russian ballet dancer Anna Pavlova). In case it tastes better than it looks there will definitely be a recipe post! Got to go back in the kitchen since it's time to prepare the dough for the piroshki; my mother decided to cook traditional Russian dishes for Christmas Eve's dinner.
